The slice of oak tree has been coated in epoxy resin as well as the mushrooms and lichen. On the back there is a wire that runs along the top, for hanging purposes. The mushroom in the front on the right has pulled away from the edge of the tree some. Otherwise, now that it's cured the whole piece is very sturdy, and the mushrooms stiff and adorable.
